Sorry for the confusion, but there's no coupon for a free lunch on here...yet. But, I told a few friends that I would be happy to share a few of the coupon deals I use, and a blog is about the easiest way to do this.
I certainly don't have the time to be one of the moms that can feed her family of 12 on $25 a week, conquer every grocery store within a 15 mile radius, nor do I find it necessary to get 10 Sunday papers for the coupon inserts each week. However, I do think it will be fun for us to find a couple deals, share a few tips, and of course get a couple laughs out of it as well! I'll try my best to be punctual about it (for those of you that know me well, please, stop laughing) and if you run across a great deal or bargain - e-mail me or put it on a comment so everyone can benefit from it!
Of course there are TONS of coupon sites, discounted stuff, etc, out there in the blogosphere, but I plan on posting stuff that is super super cheap (and useful), free after coupons and/or rebates, or my favorite - things you make money on getting!!! (I have to admit, if I am making money on it, I don't really care how useful the item is - ie bald guys head wipes? 'nuff said...) Happy Shopping!! - E :)

- I am a child of God, the wife of one and mother of two (soon to be three). Right now, I teach Mother's Day Out two days a week at my church, and somehow keep the rest of my week pretty busy. I sometimes wonder if I'm just as busy as when I worked a full time job outside the home. But I absolutely love what I do and I am so blessed to have a supportive husband and family. I am a terrible housekeeper, but I try to make up for that with cooking. I want to be organzied, but most of the time, well, I'm just not. I love making my things to do list, but don't quite love getting it done. And somehow, my family survives and looks as normal as anyone else does on the outside...well, I think we do anyway...

ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to see you start this. I'm also to see others excited about saving money like me. My hubby thinks I'm nuts for getting so giddy, but it's nice to know i'm not alone. Thanks ERIN!! I also wanted to tell of a deal I got today. It wasn't free but it was good. I bought a 96 load bottle of ALL free and clear for $10.00 at walmart (regular $12.97) and I had a $1.50 coupon. SO I got it for $8.50. I know there is probably better deals, but i'm a newbie and it thrilled me! LOL
