Here's a good deal for me b/c I buy this stuff at Sams once a month anyway! Spend $50 on P&G products (for us, it's Charmin, Era & Downy) and they'll send you a $10 Sams gift card.
And if you're not a member and are thinking about doing it - this week is a good time! Sign up by Jan 21st and you'll get a $25 gift card. So, if you could do both deals (I can't :( - already a member) it would be like a $5 membership... kinda - depends on how you look at it.
Lots of people don't do the Sams thing, b/c the prices aren't that great. I agree, however:
1. Kids = the less trips to the store, the better
2. Fewer trips to the store = less money spent (you know how you go into Wmart for one or two things and come out with a cart totaling $75?)
3. I really have found that we eat better when I have the stuff available in our freezer (veggies & meat) - you're less tempted to go out to eat, buy ingredients to make more complicated things, etc.)
4. And lastly - (careful, this one's kinda dorky) - it's just a fun family trip for us! ...electronics when you walk in the door for the hubby, free samples for the kiddos, and someone to push the cart for me! We all win! (okay, so I like the samples, too.)
Anyway - it works for us. I'll be taking advantage of the $10 gift card deal and thought I'd pass the info on to you! :)
